STITCHIN’ DOTS

Share your love of stitching with young people! Join Jaclyn Buonamici at this fun adult/child workshop where students will play with threads and colors while learning some basic stitches for counted needlepoint. Students will learn how to thread a needle, how to start stitching using an away knot, and how to count threads on an 8-inch-square canvas. Jaclyn will teach 4 unique stitches plus an optional 5th challenge stitch and a simple background stitch that students can complete at home.

The kit will include the canvas mounted on wooden stretcher bars and a selection of threads with many color choices available. For children ages 7-15. A parent or guardian must accompany each child.
