Guild Committees

The Stan Hywet Needlework Guild is a volunteer organization that is part of the larger Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens nonprofit organization. All Guild activities are planned and executed by members serving as volunteers on one or more committees or as members of the executive board. Members are asked to log all of the hours that they spend both on site as well as working from home or in meetings as they support and attend Guild activities including workshops.

There are committee roles that support the seven regular meetings and workshops as well as ongoing conservation projects. There are also special committee roles for the large events that are sponsored by the Guild: Stitchery Showcase, Textile Arts and Artisan Show, Stitchers’ Fair, and Children’s Corner. The Communication-related committees are involved in activities across the Guild.

Detailed descriptions are provided for each committee; click each link below to find out more.
